( The falling and rising of Pokemon )

Well, seeing how I've now got my laptop and DS back, I decided it was time to try something I never have before: A Nuzlocke Challenge.

For those who don't know what it is, I'll just say this: It's a special challenge, and anyone can add their own rules, as long as these two rules are in play:

~Any Pokemon that faints is considered dead, and must be released.

~The player may only catch the first Pokemon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokemon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.

So, here are my added on rules:

~Healing items bought at a Poke Mart may not be used. This includes any sort of Potion, Full Restores, Antidotes, Paralyz Heals, Awakenings, Burn Heals, Ice Heals, and Full Heals. Ethers and Elixirs are allowed, as well as any sort of "natural" healing items (EnergyPowders, Energy Roots, and Heal Powders), food (berries and Lava Cookies) and drink (Moomoo Milk, Lemonade, etc.). Rare Candies, temporary stat-enhancing items (X-_s, Guard Specs., Dire Hits), and permanent stat-enhancing items (Carboses, PP Ups, HP Ups, etc.) may also be used.

~Exceptions to the second required rule ("catching the first Pokemon encountered in each area") includes shinies, encountering "repeat" Pokemon (like finding a Zigzagoon in one area after catching one from another), accidentally fainting the first encounter, and Pokemon that do not require having a Poke Ball thrown at them (the Wynaut egg, Shedinja, Beldum, etc.).

~All Pokemon are to be nicknamed (which is what I do anyways).

~If I get a white-out, it's Game Over, regardless if I have Pokemon in the box or not.

OK, so here's my stats so far:

This'll be public, namely because I wanna show it in more places than one.

Because I was bored, I decided to totally revamp my icon space :D

So now, rather than have random icons from different series, all my icons are from one series--Fairy Tail~ Most the icons are from the same episode, too. There's also one from my original icon space I just had to keep.

Dunno how long I'll feel like having this sort of theme, but most the icons I had before (not including ones I got from icon communities or other people on here) are uploaded on my Imageshack account, so I guess I can retrieve them whenever.

Aye, I am now a brunette once again~ My hair has yet to dry, but I'm hoping it'll be brown enough to pass as the hair color Blue from PokeSpecial has, since I'll be cosplaying as her at Otakon and all.

Rather than go to a hair stylist, though, my mom bought some dark golden blond hair dye from Whole Foods (my hair was a dark enough blond that this would just make it darker) and did the dying herself. It definitely hurt a bit more, but it was her first time trying this, so I can't blame her. I appreciate her helping me out rather than leaving me out in the cold. My stepdad helped read the instructions to her, too, so I can't leave him out of this.

The manga is definitely much better than the anime, but other than Clannad's BGM, I don't think I've ever heard such amazing anime BGM before <3

While I am going to be learning Latin in 11th grade (I can't take French III or IV because I only took one year of French in 7th grade, and there's no way I'm going to continue with Spanish), I still want to learn Japanese. Ergo, it is my plan to try and self-teach myself the language.

...Which'll likely result in failure, considering my somewhat lazy demeanor and the fact that I'm not the best at memorizing symbols. Links to useful sites or books would be helpful, definitely.
